In February of 2022, I was appalled by the prices of small spice containers at my local grocery. A horrible price, for way too little, for nothing special. Like many Americans, my home cooking hobby became crimped by the pressures of inflation. I set out to forge mixes that would fuel adventurous cooking while avoiding the exorbitant grocery bill.
After hundreds of tests and a few thousand spent in R&D, we engineered 6 mixes that pack a punch. These seasonings introduce flavor without an expansive spice cabinet or excess ingredients. They allow for easy and approachable twists to make meals your own.
We sought to trail blaze new flavors, while not loading our bottles with BS. Go look at any spice bottle at your grocer, it's loaded with cheap salt. Our mixes are salt-conscious (aside from the smoked sea salt, of course) because it's better for you.
We take our name from the experimental era of the 60s, and urge you to explore the kitchen yourself. We also believe the kitchen is a frontier, and that great meals can arise from a degree of uncertainty.
